# Quick start guide

This gets a single-machine evaluation running so you can sign in, add a user, register an application and test SSO. Allow about 15 minutes.

#### Before you start

* A host meeting the minimum requirements.
* Docker and Docker Compose installed, for the container-based trial.
* A PostgreSQL database reachable from the host.

#### Steps

1. Obtain the SECUREpass deployment package and configuration from eMudhra.
2. Start the stack with your container runtime and wait for all services to report healthy.
3. Open the Admin Console in your browser and sign in with the bootstrap super-admin credentials.
4. Change the super-admin password when prompted.
5. Create your first user — **Users & Groups → Manage Users**.
6. Register your first application — **Manage Resources → Manage Applications**.
7. Test a single sign-on as the new user.

> This flow is for evaluation only. For production, follow the full Deployment Guide and production checklist.

#### After deployment

Once the platform is running, complete the initial configuration:

1. Change the super-admin password.
2. Configure the email gateway — **Configuration → Email & SMS**.
3. Configure the SMS gateway, if used.
4. Create your first tenant.
5. Import users, or connect AD/LDAP — **Users & Groups → Manage Users**.
6. Register your first application — **Manage Resources**.
7. Configure authentication modes and risk profiles — **Configuration → Authentication Modes**.
8. Test the end-to-end sign-in flow.
9. Configure audit-log retention.
10. Register the licence — **Manage License**.
