# WAR-based deployment

For production on an application server, deploy each service WAR separately:

| Service       | Purpose                                   |
| ------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| Auth          | Authentication and the sign-in page       |
| Admin         | Admin console                             |
| Self-Service  | Self Service Portal                       |
| OTP           | One-time password generation and delivery |
| PAM gateways  | Privileged session proxying               |
| TenantManager | Tenant provisioning and isolation         |
| Scheduler     | Scheduled jobs and synchronisation        |

## Configure each service

For each service, configure the datasource to point at PostgreSQL and set the service's properties file.

## Deploy the WARs

Place the WARs in Tomcat's deployment directory.

## Start the server

Start the server.
