| Application server | Apache Tomcat 10 |

## Database server

| | Requirement |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| Quantity | 1 |
| Processor | 8 vCPU |
| RAM | 16 GB |
| Storage | 250 GB SSD |
| Operating system | Windows Server 2019 or later, or RHEL |
| Database | PostgreSQL 16 |

An SMTP relay is also required for email OTP delivery.

> **Note** The PAM prerequisites document specifies **Ubuntu 20.04 or later** as the operating system, **500 GB** of database storage, and states that MySQL, MS SQL and Oracle are supported alongside PostgreSQL. The IDAM prerequisites document specifies Windows or RHEL, 250 GB, and PostgreSQL only. These are genuine differences between the two documents, not a typo. If you are deploying IAM and PAM together, agree the target platform with eMudhra before provisioning.

## Sizing for production

The figures above are proof-of-concept minimums. Size up against your user population, your session-recording retention, and your audit-log retention. Session recording in particular is storage-hungry: PAM deployments require a **dedicated volume of at least 1 TB** for recordings, expandable according to your retention period.
