# Importing from OpenLDAP

The OpenLDAP wizard is the AD wizard with a different title. Same three steps, same fields, same behaviour.

## Start an OpenLDAP import

On **Manage Users**, click **Import → OpenLDAP**.

## Configure the LDAP connection

In **LDAP Configuration**, choose **New Connection**.

Complete the connection form and click **Test Connection**.

## Select containers

Select the containers to import.

## Map attributes and import users

Map the attributes, adding custom attributes if you need them.

Click **Import**, select the users you want, and click **Save**. They appear on **Manage Users** with **Source** set to OpenLDAP.
