# Dashboard and widgets

The dashboard is the landing page after sign-in and is organised into five tabs.

| Tab | What it shows |
| -------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **User & Authentication** | Active users, active groups, MFA-enabled accounts, dormant accounts, login attempts and authentication mode usage |
| **Access Management** | Application and entitlement activity |
| **User Activity & Self-Service** | End-user actions and self-service portal usage |
| **System & Performance** | Platform health and throughput |
| **Security, Compliance & Audit** | Security events and audit posture |

Each tab carries a **date range selector** governing every widget on it, KPI tiles for headline counts, and charts that can be expanded.

On the **User & Authentication** tab, **Login Attempts** plots successful against failed sign-ins over the selected period, and **Authentication Mode Usage** breaks down which factors are actually being used — useful for confirming an MFA rollout is landing, or spotting that a mode you enabled is going unused.
