# Sign in and prepare the console

## Sign in with your username, email, or mobile number

Open the SECUREpass Admin Console URL supplied by your administrator. The **Sign in** screen accepts either a username or email address, or a mobile number — you do not need both.

### Enter your sign-in details

In **Username or Email**, type your registered username or email address.

Alternatively, select your country code and enter your registered number in **Mobile Number**.

### Continue

Click **Continue**.

The **Don’t have an account?** link starts self-registration. Self-registration is only available when an administrator has enabled it for your tenant.

## Enter your password

SECUREpass then prompts for the next authentication factor. For most administrators, this is a password.

Click **Continue**.

## Choose a different sign-in method

If more than one authentication mode is enabled for your account, you can sign in with something other than a password. On the password screen, choose the option to see other methods. The **Sign in Options** panel lists every mode enabled for you.

Select a method to switch to it, or click **Back** to return.

The list is specific to your account. Which modes appear depends on what the administrator has enabled for your tenant and for your user record, and on the risk profile that applies to your sign-in. See *Authentication and MFA → Authentication mode catalogue* for the full set of modes SECUREpass supports.

## The admin dashboard

A successful sign-in lands you on the dashboard.

## Session timeout

The header shows a **Session ends in** countdown. When it expires, you are signed out and unsaved work in an open dialog is lost.

Bulk imports involve several wizard steps and, for large directories, a long-running fetch. Check the countdown before you begin a large import.
