# Entering the application details

If you do not have a configuration file, complete step 1 directly.

| Field                       | Description                                                                                  |
| --------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Upload Application Icon** | Optional. PNG or JPG under 1 MB                                                              |
| **Application Name**        | Required. The name shown to users in their application portal                                |
| **Application Description** | What the application is for                                                                  |
| **App Access Mode**         | **IDP** and **SP** — whether SECUREpass acts as identity provider, service provider, or both |
| **Integration Protocol**    | Required. **SAML 2.0**, **OpenID** or **OAuth 2.0**                                          |

Open **Integration Protocol** and choose the protocol the application supports.
